ClaimsRe app for iPhone and iPad

Each authorized user will use this mobile app to report incidents (accidents) involving our clients’ resources like buildings, equipment, vehicles, inventories, and employees; activities like transportation, storage, and production; and products like beverages, fruits, and salads, or services like freight forwarding, security, and others.
This mobile app saves time to the authorized user during an incident (accident) to enter information in the app by automatically detecting the incident’s date, time and location. The app also provides a camera to take pictures. The authorized user can take pictures of the incident and other documentation instead of writing the information in the app.

Auto
Use this form to report an incident involving a vehicle owned, leased or rent by the Company or by anyone doing business on behalf of the Company; or to report cargo losses involving a vehicle like a truck, trailer, automobile, etc. The damaged or lost cargo can be owned by the Company or a third-party.
The app brings from the Company’s database information about the Company’s vehicle and driver (D.L. #, VIN#, insurance ID, vehicle registration, and others).

Product
Use this form to report an incident involving a Company’s product or service, including a product contamination or malfunction incident.

Property
To report an incident involving property losses as a result of natural causes like hurricanes, wind, tropical storms, earthquakes, tornados, and sink holes; and man-made causes like product contamination (while stored at the Company’s property), fires, building collapse, sinkhole, sprinkler system failure, boilers & machinery incidents, and power outages.

Workers’ Compensation (WC)
To report an incident where a Company’s employee is accidentally injured during the course and scope of employment. DO NOT use this form to report an injury suffered by a temporary worker or any contractor’s employee. For those injuries, use the “Other Incident” tab.

Marine
To report an incident involving a vessel, tugboat, barge, tender, or any other boat owned, chartered, leased, or rented by the Company; or to report property claims involving equipment at ports, yards or distribution centers like containers, chassis, gensets, CA Units, cranes, top loaders, and power packs; or port structures like buildings, repair shops, wharfs, levees, and berths; owned, leased or rented by the Company, or in the Company’s care, custody and control like property of others located at ports, yards, and warehouses administered by the Company.

Others
To report any incident not included under the auto, product, property, WC or marine categories like an incident where a temporary or a contractor’s employee is injured while working at a Company’s location; or a claim not involving a bodily injury or property damage like sexual harassment, discrimination, or wrongful termination; or a claim involving any environmental issue caused by the Company or a contractor doing business on behalf of the Company.
